It means forming an alliance with, and sharing the values of, the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Foundation, it is an act of life-giving solidarity, and one that is guided by scientific rigour, care for patients, trust and transparency.
The tenor Josep Carreras established the Foundation that bears his name in 1988 with the aim of investing all the resources he could muster to find a definitive cure for leukaemia. Every year 6,400 new case of leukaemia, the most frequent cancer amongst children, are diagnosed in Spain. One in ten children and half the adults who have the disease do not survive. The only hope for all of them lies in science and solidarity. For this reason, ERRA is a partner company since 2014, to help with research and investigation.
